Hypnagogia is a collaborative album with singer-songwriter Seven Star, inspired by the transitional state of consciousness between wakefulness and sleep — a realm where involuntary and imagined experiences often emerge.

SYZYGY(2020)
“Syzygy” is a term which refers to the astrological process underlying the cyclical phenomena of eclipses, the full moon and the new moon. It is intended as an analogy for the waxing and waning of relationships which we all experience as life ebbs and flows.

alba(2019)
Drawing inspiration from Emily Jane Brontë, Christina Rossetti, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, and Amy Levy, ALBA reimagines their verses through an evocative fusion of alternative soul, ambient electronica, and poetic spoken word.

yellow cricket(2017)
Yellow Cricket is a storytelling project about transitions. Inspired by the Tibetan manuscript Bardo Thodol, Yellow Cricket is the story of Ana, a girl who finds a yellow cricket in her garden during a summer night. Surprised by this strange creature, she tries to catch him, however, when she touches the cricket, she appears in an unfamiliar place for her. It is then when she discovers that the Yellow Cricket is a portal, allowing her to travel through different dimensions. In this story, Ana travels through different places, exploring the deep dimensions that run parallel to ours.

At the crossroads of gospel, jazz, and hip-hop, Quarter Tone is a witness to our world. Right here, right now. We live in a paradox: while technology instantly allows people the world over to work together without ever physically meeting, social and economic inequalities grow globally. Hip-hop’s truth telling, jazz’s improvisation, gospel’s faith, and digital possibility intersect on this album to tell the truth of our moment.
